Canadian Geese, Mallards, and Golden Eye Ducks around the aereation pond on Middle Foy's Lake. The Bald Eagles still stop by as well. We've seen some big black Ravens, which is unusual for our neighborhood.

In The Community: The Auction of Miniatures Preview Party at the Hockaday was kind of crazy -- we piggy-backed a photo sale onto the main event to benefit the Glacier Park Fund. We were mixing and mingling set-up and take-down tasks. The director sent me home while there were still photo-folks meandering around the place -- she had some helping hands, and most of the clean-up was done. We DID get some early bids on the Auction though, and I saw some photos sell.
Don't miss: Auction of Miniatures thumbnail pictures, minimum bids, and a bid form on the Hockaday Museum of Art's Website.

Media Watch: George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars played the Fillmore in San Francisco Friday night, starting after I was done at the museum. I napped out to attempt some Astral Travelling. Here's portions of Jeffrey (P-Funk 1)'s review:
good show
mr wiggles HOMA funkadelicish start to the show do that stuff
MR SHIDER did some very nice vocalizing before one nation
KENDRA FOSTER sang the GREG THOMAS part of knee deep-
that to me was VERY special especially after one of the bestess bounce to this i ever seen. on bounce you could hear her clear and loudly and she sang the song with energy which to me seemed to energize the band more and from the i watched the crowd go funky nuts over the energy and movement
i love the f**k horns.
alot of the band seemed to "step up" and take it higher.
even MR CLINTON was out there slinging sweat like i never
seen him do before, i mean literally too
ERIC MCFADDEN is bad. the SOLID STANK POSSE gave BLACKBYRD a designer guitar
KIM MANNING was working the wonder woman suit.
seem like every position took it to the next level when given the chance

I didn't remember anything after I woke up -- would I have remembered anything anyway if I was there in person?

(Clockwise from Lower Left) Singer Kim Manning dressed up as Wonder Woman? Works for me! Lynda Carter's TV heroine sure resembled her contemporary competition -- Catherine Bach's Daisy Duke (Lower Right) -- even more so if Carter was dressed in ranchwear (Center).
