Weather: It didn't rain yesterday, even though I videotaped outside. Those damn dust clouds were blowing to the north again. As I was trying to tape, I breathed in a noseful of dust and tree pollen that doubled me over coughing.
This may be astronomy, but there was a gorgeous moon to the west this morning.

Wildlife: Hummingbird sighting!

Media Watch: NPR this morning had Bob Edwards talking about his book about Edward R. Morrow.:

Weather: Clouding up, but it doesn't feel like rain. Maybe I should videotape outside and watch it POUR!

Wildlife: Baby finches are VERY small. Magpies are peanut-pigs. Hummingbirds should be showing up soon.

Charity Alert: The Hunger Site : Give Food for Free to Hungry People in the World

Media Watch: I've been digitizing 30 year old B&W videos of varying quality, but I'll get some good material out of them, thanx to Photoshop and other magical tools. My Theatre Website is getting closer to launch!
I've never watched a complete episode of Friends -- no hostility, but no interest either.
The greatest sitcom of all time is I Love Lucy -- nothing has surpassed it as a regular set-piece show.
(Equalled it? Maybe -- All In The Family, The Cosby Show, Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, some seasons of Designing Women... Mash was a better 'comedy,' but it had a different form.

Weather: Clouding up as I write this -- the jet stream is just north of us -- a slight chance of rain.

Wildlife: The Magpies prefer peanuts, for sure, but the other birds are enjoying our feeders, even with the big boys around. A dove stood it's ground when a Yellowhead Blackbird hassled it, and 'Old Yellow' went elsewhere.

Charity Alert: The Breast Cancer Site : Fund Mammograms for Free

Media Watch: Los Angeles bit it bad on 10.5 last night -- however Ventura County and Santa Barbara became an island somehow, and Barstow became beachfront property. The Lord loves Oxnard!

Weather: Low clouds, no rain, bad combination.

Wildlife: The floating island, and our fallen log, are getting thick with sunning turtles.

Charity Alert: The Child Health Site : Help a Child in Need Lead a Healthy, Active Life

Media Watch: Dawg-assed show on NBC -- 10.5 -- about serial earthquakes knocking the West Coast around -- musta been written by a soap-opera crew from Noo Yawk! I had to put up the bunny-ears to see it, because we're not allowed an NBC station on our satellite.
CSpan -- Niall Ferguson on In Depth for three hours. He IS capable of explaining his positions, not that I readily agree with him -- but overall, this monthly show is good.
