Wildlife: Swarms of blue-winged swallows doing aerobatics over the waters of Middle Foy's Lake -- swarms of bugs for them to eat, too! A bluebird sighting at the nearby corner of Buckboard and Lake Shore Drive.

Weather: It snowed all night in Glacier National Park -- only a trace of moisture in our dusty ol' valley. The day started with very high clouds -- the sun is making sharp shadows, but some lower cumulus are roiling in.

Charity Alert: The Breast Cancer Site : Fund Mammograms for Free

Media Watch: Testimony in congress about our human rights abuses. William Butler Yeats, We fed the heart on fantasy, the heart grew brutal on the fare: USATODAY.com - Prisoner abuse tied to 'failure in leadership'
On a lighter note -- Dick Van Dyke Revisited -- a fairly entertaining show with Rose Marie, Mary Tyler Moore, Carl Reiner, and some others from the 60's sitcom.
