Weather: More blue sky and drying out landscape.

Wildlife: Birds, birds, and more birds -- the Magpies used to distain anything except peanuts, but they're visiting our box-feeder regularly now.

Charity Alert: The Rainforest Site: Help Save Our Rainforests!

Media Watch: Kingdom Hospital went off on a tangent. This show is only worth a limited damn as a mini-series IMHO, and playing stand-alone episodes just makes it slower. No headless corpse, no laughs, glacial progress in the plot.
Bob Edwards is being pushed out of his Morning Edition spot on NPR, obviously because of his age. I'm going to write 'em a letter. CNN.com - Edwards signs off 'Morning Edition' - Apr 30, 2004

At the College: Video, video, video -- we are making DVDs now as well as DV tapes. The latter are worthless junk -- too small, too fragile, but all these student projects took up the whole of yesterday! I did learn something about making audio CDs from MP3s with Nero software, though.
I'm presenting a paper later today about Footsbarn Theatre as "One Antidote to War and Violence." 33 years and counting -- I'm really proud of those people: Footsbarn - Welcome
